Jamie, what’s the story behind Lolablue?
I launched Lolablue in 2003 after spending 12 years working as an award-winning graphic designer. My initial inspiration was organic soy candles which are better for human health and our planet. We’ve added many new products since, and all of our hand-crafted products are made from the best available natural raw ingredients. That means organic and free from pesticides and herbicides. My partner DJ joined me full time in 2013. His extensive background in personal training, counseling and nutrition enhances everything about Lolablue. Everyone at Lolablue is proud to manufacture our line of products from our location in North Port.
Please tell our readers about your products?
We have so many great products available online or at our retail store in North Port. Our products are also available at many retail locations including Whole Foods Market, hair salons, gift stores, and other dedicated wholesalers. We offer palm oil-free soap, two pound soap bricks, diffuser oils, essential oils, organic soy candles (so many scents), hand sanitizers, lip balms (peppermint and grapefruit), body frosting luxury crème (paraben-free of course), natural deodorant, natural bug spray and bug soap (Lolablue Armour), roll on perfume oil (lots of options), aromatherapy sprays, room and body sprays, soap accessories, sugar whip for exfoliating, cleansing and hydrating your skin, select CBD products, and wax melts for your electric or tealight burners. We also sell products from various partners including Kuratif Jewelry, Small Axe Cannabis (gummies), Siesta Key Sea Bee Dee, and CBD Living Drinks. We even have fun branded products like our coffee mug, reusable stainless steel tumbler, scent free air fresheners, and pop sockets.

What do you love about your work and what are some of the challenges?
I love being creative with blending scents and creating (formulating) innovative and healthy products for our customers while promoting healthier lifestyles. An ongoing big challenge for me is finding enough hours in the day to get everything done.
What are some of your other interests?
Yoga, running and spending time with my family and friends.
