Why is vegan cuisine important to health and longevity?
A whole food, plant-based lifestyle improves your health, boosts energy levels, decreases inflammation, lowers blood pressure, and prevents chronic diseases. Plant-based foods are higher in antioxidants which results in glowing skin, more energy, better sleep, and a stronger immune system.
When did you move to Venice and what’s your background?
We moved here 4 years ago. We are classically trained dancers and have owned performing arts centers in New Jersey for 20 years. The limited options for quality vegan cuisine inspired us to open Seed to Table.
What are some of the most popular items on your menu?
The most popular lunch items are the Loaded Vegan Grilled Cheese with Avocado and Cashew Cream, Black Bean Quinoa Burger, Vegan Crab Cake with a Parsley Dill Cashew Aioli, and Vegan Egg Salad Sandwich. We also alternate specials including a Walnut Portobello Shitake Beet Quinoa Burger, White Bean Artichoke Burger, and Stuffed Portobello Mushroom. We are very well known for our soups, fresh pressed juices and smoothies. Everything is made in house fresh daily. Our most popular desserts include Vegan Chocolate Mousse, Vegan Cheesecake, and Chocolate Chip Cookies. Newest to our menu are our pitaya and acai bowls. They are rich in Antioxidants, Vitamin B2, and Vitamin C.
Please explain your meal prep program?
We prepare 7 or 14 tasty plant-based meals per week. This gives customers the food they need to live a healthy plant-based lifestyle without all the work.
What are your options for vegan family style vegan Italian dinners for 4-6 people?
Classic Marinara, Vegan Puttanesca, Vegan Lasagna, Vegan Stuffed Shells, Vegan Spaghetti Carbonara, Vegan Sausage, Peppers, and Onions, and Zucchini Boats. Each dinner includes a choice of one side: Sautéed Spinach, Seasoned Asparagus, Broccoli Rabe, or Garden Salad with Vegan Ranch Dressing. We require 24 hour notice for a new order.
What about your vegan dinner and brunch?
We are now offering once a month vegan sit down dinner and brunch. It will be a set menu. Reservations can be made online. Subscribe to our mailing list for events and updates.
What inspired you both to eat healthier?
After extensive research, we decided the vegan lifestyle was the key to optimal health for our family and also ethically important for animals and the environment.
