Liesl Walsh is a fine art photographer who enjoys capturing memorable moments from her hometown Venice and other places around the world. “I enhance light, shadows and color when editing my photos to create powerful, dramatic and peaceful images,” explained Liesl. “My photos reveal the world as a beautiful place to live and a wonderful place to explore.”
Liesl works with the renowned French photographer Serge Ramelli as an Ambassador in his PhotoSerge Academy. The association with Serge provides Liesl with the opportunity to teach photography online to students from around the world.
Another photography project involved helping to design her husband Michael A. Barry’s lighthearted book Vagabonds in France featuring her photo on the cover and many additional photos inside. The book tells the story of Michael and Liesl’s unexpected adventure to Europe.
“We put everything in storage and left with no return date or future plans,” Liesl said. “It was a genuine trip of a lifetime that took us to memorable destinations in Portugal, Spain and France including a month in Paris.”
