Aaron, please give a
brief overview about your practice?
We’ve been serving the Venice Area for over 30 years; I took over the practice in 2008 from Dr. Chriss Sigafoose. I’ve been helping patients in the Venice area for over 12 years. We provide chiropractic care, massage therapy, skin care, weight loss programs, ionic detox, and nutritional counseling.
What do you mean when
you reference using a whole person
approach to treatment?
It means focusing on what’s causing symptoms of pain or other conditions. This analysis is based on my clinical training and experience. It also involves the recognition that everyone is unique. For most treatments, I prefer to use manual manipulation techniques with support from specialized clinical tools.
How has being a
triathlete influenced your knowledge about wellness, fitness and supplements?
In many cases, I’ve personally benefited from the treatments, exercises, stretches, supplements, and nutritional plans I use to help our patients. I also do a lot of ongoing research to enhance my confidence about various treatment options. The risk of injury is more prevalent for athletes and other active adults. I know this first hand, so my experience dealing with injuries and recovery has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and practical insights. One of my major goals is to come up with treatment plans that work best for each individual. Being an athlete is also a major reason I decided to become a chiropractor.
Where did you
complete your undergraduate degree and your Doctor of Chiropractic degree?
I earned my BS in Health Science from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and my Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College.
Who else is part of
